Terms of service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using sickplaylists, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to consent to data processing where you live. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for everything that happens on your account.

3. Your lists and uploads

You keep ownership of the text, images, and clips you post. You give us a non-exclusive licence to store and display that content on sickplaylists so your lists can be viewed and shared, and to use it in our advertising and promotional materials. You are responsible for everything you upload, including profile and playlist backgrounds, and you must have the right to use any media you post. We can remove uploads we believe infringe someone else's rights, without notice, and repeat infringers can lose their account or their ability to upload.

4. Music and previews

sickplaylists does not host or stream full songs. Lists are text entries you write, and short previews come from public catalogue services. Playback of full tracks happens through your own device or streaming service.

5. Rules of the room

Do not post or do any of the following:

• Harassment, hate speech, threats, or targeted abuse.
• Sexual content involving minors, or any illegal content.
• Spam, scams, malware, or bulk automated activity.
• Impersonating another person or claiming badges you were not granted.
• Uploading pirated or infringing media, or links to it.
• Scraping, reverse engineering, or attacking the service.

6. Moderation

We can remove lists, notes, uploads, or badges, and suspend or delete accounts, when content breaks these terms or puts the service at risk. Where it is reasonable we will tell you why.

7. Copyright takedowns

If you believe something here infringes your copyright, contact us with the work in question, the link to the content, and your contact details. We remove infringing material once verified and repeat infringers lose their accounts.

8. Purchases

The Lifetime unlock, the verified badge, and donations are one-time payments for digital goods, processed by our payment provider. Access is granted to your account as soon as payment clears. Because these unlock instantly, payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. Donations are voluntary and are not refundable. "Lifetime" means the lifetime of the service, not a guaranteed period of time.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from settings, which removes your profile, lists, uploads, and notes. Deleting your account does not refund past purchases.

10. Service as-is

sickplaylists is provided as-is, without warranties. We do our best to keep your lists safe but we cannot promise uninterrupted service or that nothing will ever be lost. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages, and our total liability is limited to what you have paid us.

11. Changes

We may update these terms as the site grows. If a change is significant we will make it visible on the site. Continuing to use sickplaylists after a change means you accept the updated terms.
